Sterling Silver PMC Pendant on Oxidized Bead Chain - Native American Symbol - Small Pendant - Artisan Pendant
A vintage, leather stamp was used to create the small artisan pendant that is the focal point of this unique, sterling silver necklace. The stamped design depicts a Native American symbol of a hogan whose meaning is "permanent home". A clay rendition of the impression created by the old stamp was used to form the little pendant which was then kiln-fired, oxidized, tumbled, and hand polished! The hand crafted pendant hangs from an oxidized sterling bead chain with a lobster clasp accented with a tiny, sterling cube bead. This necklace is available in 16" or 18" lengths. I designed this piece for a dear friend of mine who recently purchased her first home. I presented it to her as a house-warming gift! The necklace is a symbolic treasure that holds special meaning for her, and she wears if often!
Although this necklace can be recreated, each pendant will be slightly different and exhibit unique characteristics due to the hand construction and kiln-firing process used to create each piece. Most often, our PMC pieces will be custom created upon receiving an order, so please expect a processing period of 3 to 5 days.
