A small mule deer antler served as the inspiration for these unusual, sterling silver artisan earrings. My little work studio is nestled along bank of the Wind River in tiny Dubois, Wyoming, and I watch mule deer almost every day in my back yard and sometimes find their shed antlers in the early spring. My rendition of the burr end of one such antler was formed in to PMC sterling clay pieces that were then kiln-fired, oxidized, tumbled, and hand polished to a lovely silver sheen! Dangling from sterling silver French earwires, these unique earrings are refreshingly different and organically stunning!
Although these PMC sterling earrings can be recreated, each pair will be a bit different and exhibit unique characteristics due to the hand construction and kiln-firing process used to create them. Most often, our PMC pieces will be custom created upon receiving an order, so please expect a processing period of 3 to 5 days.
